For my current project, I am working with an ecologist in the ENCI quarry in Maastricht, where I have found seventy million year old belemnites and sea urchins. These fossils form the starting point for my research into how everything is in motion. Using X-ray scans, in collaboration with CWI in Amsterdam and in dialogue with paleontologists from Naturalis and the Natural History Museum Maastricht, traces become visible that show how different forms of life intersect and that what something is never remains fixed.
